Key job responsibilities include the development of business opportunities for Tektronix Communications Network Intelligence Solutions to Telecommunication Operators throughout Japan. You will Identify, Focus, Develop and Grow penetration of these solutions into the region’s Major Accounts.
This role requires the individual to make sales calls to all relevant departments within Telecom accounts, manage resellers where appropriate, including face-to-face and phone meetings with senior and C-level management, developing detailed business plans and communicating them within the Tektronix business, coordinating and technical demonstrations and actively maintaining accurate opportunity and forecast information in SalesForce.Com. You will be responsible for execution of sales strategies to achieve business plan/revenue goals and expand market penetration.
Qualifications
Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering
7-10 years of relevant working experience in Telecom/T&M Industry
Ability to work independently with minimum guidance or supervision
Working knowledge in Telecom technologies like GSM, GPRS, SS7, IN, VoIP, UMTS,3G and LTE
Strong understanding of telecommunications network management and active test applications and markets
Must have experience and proven track record selling complex systems to wireless/wireline carriers with good communications skills (oral and written)
Extensive contacts within organizational structures of telecom carriers is a bonus
Ability to work within a dynamic and high-pressure environment
Ability to travel internationally and work from home as required
